Welcome to Circle M BBQ — where the hickory burns hot, the BBQ runs deep, and the welcome feels like home.
Located in the foothills of South Carolina, Circle M BBQ was founded in 1992 by Marion Martin, a man who knew how to cook barbecue the old-fashioned way: whole hog, smoked low and slow over hickory coals. In 2020, longtime friend Joey Link and his family took over the business — and brought some new life to the pit.
With Joey and his daughter at the helm, Circle M became more than a BBQ joint. It became a place where families gather, kids play, and folks linger a little longer. We added a kid-friendly menu, a play area for our little piglets, and free kid-size desserts for children under 14 — because we believe good food tastes even better when you feel like you belong.
🔥 What We Serve
Our barbecue is still made the old-school way — cooked over real hickory coals that we split and burn down ourselves. Every bite of pork, ribs, chicken, and brisket is slow-smoked with care and packed with flavor.
Yes, we said brisket. We added it in 2020, and it’s quickly become a fan favorite. On Fridays, try our famous burnt ends. On Saturdays, we serve it Texas-style — sliced and stacked just right. Our tender smoked brisket draws a crowd of its own, and now we’re proud to offer a new fan favorite: our house-made smoked sausage. We cut, grind, stuff, and smoke it all right here in-house — no shortcuts, no fillers, just bold, smoky flavor done the Circle M way.
And don’t skip dessert. We make every sweet from scratch, and they've become almost as popular as the meat. (Almost.)
💛 Our Heart Behind the Smoke
Each month, we host a Mission Weekend, where 100% of all dessert sales go directly to support a missionary or mission organization. It’s one of our favorite things we do — and it’s made possible by customers like you, showing up hungry and leaving full in more ways than one.
At Circle M, barbecue is just the beginning. We believe food is a way to love people well — and we want our restaurant to reflect the love of God in real, practical ways.
